A cozy Chinese food restaurant located in what used to be Detroit's original Chinatown.
The sesame chicken dish ($15.95) is equal parts rice, meat (or tofu) & veggies, broccoli, onion, bok choy, brown sugar and soy sauce. Vegan customers can substitute chicken for tofu.
Cucumber Avocado Salad is packed with nutrients and flavor. A perfect appetizer or filling enough to be a main course. Made w/ peanut vinaigrette, carrot, jicama, radish, served on a bed of mixed summer greens.
The Korean Fried Chicken ($8.95) are topped with Asian slaw and spicy sriracha aioli.
The Peterboro is the only Chinese restaurant left in what used to be Detroit's Chinatown. Theres a private hallway in the back of the restaurant that dispalys framed pictures of the original Chinatown.
The Peterboro is only open for dinner starting at 5pm on weekdays and 4pm on the weekend.
Theres a security guard and free parking on the side of the building.
